(Updated 12/19/12) Joel has received a 2009 Outstanding Alumni Award from the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences for his extensive work with no-till crop production with both the NRCS and also the PA No-till Alliance. Don was honored to be able to represent Pennsylvania at the American Forage and Grassland Council Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in June, 2009.

Myers farm is situated in central Pennsylvania approximately 16 miles southeast of State College,  the home of the Pennsylvania State University. Our primary crop is alfalfa. For the past thirteen years we have been specializing in alfalfa balage production in big round bales. This web site highlights our production techniques and the results we have been able to achieve, as well as giving you the opportunity to view our farm and to meet the family. We strive to produce a consistent,  high quality product.
